Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, H.E Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) discussed the Bank’s actual and prospective contribution to the Government priorities in particular in social housing, agriculture and air transport. The President of BADEA availed to the opportunity to congratulate H.E. Alassane OUATTARA for his Government’s macroeconomic performance, successful resource mobilization on the international financial market and the improvement of the sovereign rating of Côte d'Ivoire, a reflection of confidence by rating agencies and investors.

At the invitation of H.E João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola, H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa visited Luanda and discussed about the means and ways to boost the cooperation between Angola and BADEA on investment and trade financing. Energy, education and health infrastructures came as top priorities for the public sector. BADEA is also prompt to mobilize sister institutions from the Arab Coordination Group. On the private sector , BADEA’s President discussed with a wide range of stakeholders about finding opportunities for agricultural value chains, special economic zones, banking sector and trade.
