Caccamo (Sicilian: Càccamu) is a toun an comune locatit on the Tyrrhenian coast o Sicily in the Province o Palermo.

The castle itsel is actually nou bein slowly convertit intae a conference center. On the grund level o the castle is a restaurant " A Castellana". Submergit athin the loch is a stane brig biggit in 1307 on the road that ance linkit the toun wi Palermo. The ceety conteens an attractive 11t-hunderyear cathedral, which wis remodeled in 1477 an 1614. On the side o the cathedral are twa kirks. The Chiesa dell'Anime del Purgatorio (Kirk o the Souls o Purgatory) featurs some stucco wirk in the eastren end an a 18t-hunderyear organ. In the dounstairs are catacombs whaur the skeletons o a nummer o tounsfowk lee in niches alang the waw, a burial practice that lastit frae the 17t hunderyear up tae 1863.
