Azawad (Tuareg: ⴰⵣⴰⵓⴷ, Azawd; Arabic: أزواد, Azawād; French: Azawad) is territory an umwhile unrecognisit state in North Africae unilaterally declared bi the Naitional Muivement for the Liberation o Azawad (MNLA) in 2012 efter a Tuareg rebellion drove the Malian Airmy frae the territory.
