Angelique Rockas (born in Boksburg, Sooth Africa) is an actress, producer an activist. In 1980, Rockas foonded Internationalist Theatre in the Unitit Kinrick[1] wi patron Athol Fugard. The theatre featured multi-racial casts in classical plays, breakin racial barriers 'at waur ance accepted norms fur theatrical performances.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Rockas gained praise fur her strang interpretations[10] ay: Medea (Euripides),[11][12][13] Video[14] Miss Julie (August Strindberg),[15][16] Emma in The Camp (Griselda Gambaro)[17][18][19][20] an as Annabella in Ford's 'Tis Pity She's a Whore[21] She forby played Lady Macbeth at the Tramshed Theatre, Woolwich, London,[22][23] and th' nurse in th' f an' h play at th' traverse theatre.[24]
