Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, speaking during the plenary session of the just-ended the 4th AATB BoG Meetings in #Tunis. “If Africa successfully implements the #AfCFTA, it could add over $450 billion to the continent's GDP by 2023, reducing intra-African trade barriers by over 70%, cutting costs, and fostering economic integration. #SMEs, especially those led by #women and young #entrepreneurs, stand to benefit most from increased intra-African trade. The 4th AATB Board of Governors meeting in Tunis, Tunisia was a success.
