What's something you do that people wouldn't believe based on a first glance at you?
Everything about me seems to obvious but that might just be because I’m me, so nothing about myself is surprising, but most people probably wouldn’t assume that one of my favorite hobbies is cooking and baking and one of my favorites games is MGS.
This might not be the best answer but I am just not very good at seeing myself from a third perspective😭😭
What are Goth values?
Goth as a subculture has it’s roots in punk, that’s why it’s called ‘post-punk’ often. Punk is a extremely political subculture, and there for goth shares the same beliefs. The basics of it is basically, don’t be a bigot, don’t be intolerant and fuck the government, don’t feed into capitalism if you don’t have to. A lot of people would like to argue against this and say that you can be conservative and goth or punk, but that is just not the case. It goes against the entire foundation of these subcultures.
That being said, not every subculture is political and most are just fashion or music based. But goth and punk is heavily politically based and most people within more 'alternative’ communities will not appreciate conservative values.

I’d consider myself a baby bat I love the music, and the dancing and the vibe of wondering about the dead but sometimes I worry I’m kinda a poser just because goth isn’t my number one thing and I don’t ever really dress it but I really do appreciate it I just don’t want to say ‘I’m goth’ and offended someone goth Yknow what do your think

It all depends on how you view yourself, goth isn’t something you become but something you just are, same goes for punk or any other subculture just like them. Goth is a reflection of you as a person, what you believe, your philosophy, music taste and values. If you feel comfortable identifying yourself as a baby bat at the moment, do that! Don’t worry about offending anyone, because as long as you listen to the music and have the values to go along with it (which reflects who really are) you’re not a poser and they don’t have anything to be mad about!

what's your favourite sub-style of the Goth subculture and your least?
I’d have to say that my favorites are mall goth/ 90s goth and rivethead, cybergoth, plus gothabilly cuz I think it is so fun!!
My least favorite is probably the ‘nu goth’, third eye cat, big sun hat type of goth. It is just really not my thing.
But everyone should dress however they want, Idc as long as u’re happy and u’re not hurting anyone!!
Soooo... since you like Saw, have you ever played the games? I've seen playthoughs and they're definitely... torturous, dunno if it's in the way it's supposed to be. Also have you been to one of those scape rooms or experiences about Saw? I went to one and I found out I am NOT built for escape rooms. Love ur blog btw, supper spooky!
I haven’t played the games unfortunately, but I really want to. From what I’ve seen you cannot not get it on steam, most likely due to licensing reasons, but I am hoping to buy a physical copy one day!

I would genuinely die, tumblr is the only platform that doesn’t make me want to rip my hair out and if they started doing things like every other social media that would make things worse over here, so let’s hope that they do not do that.

I actually just got done watching American Mary and holy fucking shit, how have I not watched this earlier??? For sure a new favorite and I always love to see Katharine Isabelle in literally anything so that was a real treat
