TIPS:

Battle in Resonance Rhythm in You takes place on the beat of the song. Each action should be timed to the beat. Enemies will also perform attacks on the beat.

Rhythm acts as a type of mana. Each successful attack and block accumulates it. Gathering Rhythm (see above controls) on the glowing Beat Pulses travelling across the screen will gain you a whopping 5 rhythm! Careful though, as mistiming an action on the beat will lose you 5!

Enemies will follow patterns of actions that you will pick up on as you get into the flow of combat. Timing attacks and blocks is key- though if an enemy is pressured by your attacks too much, they will enter a revenge state. A fiery effect appears and they cannot be hurt - so play defensively when this occurs!

Once you reach the end, you will need to manually close the game (Alt F4). We are hoping to get full menu support in the next build.

Lastly, if you run into any game breaking bugs or just want to try a section again, we've included handy checkpoint hotkeys. To avoid spoilers, we've put those in the bottom of the included instructions notepad document.

I died like 15 times to the boss.

10/10 would play again.

Hey Slimskeey, thanks so much for playing!

The boss is certainly tough - we know there are some elements to the combat we're hoping to polish and improve to make it a bit less taxing - but we're super happy you enjoyed the game and the challenge nonetheless~

Stay tuned and be sure to follow us as we're hoping for some more exciting news throughout the year.

I definitely will, thank you for this

Tried the new update out, found a bug or two as well.  It looks great, and the new improved music is awesome as well.

Pretty cool experience.  I didn't really experience any bugs, aside from clipping through some of the terrain and objects.  I think the combat system could use a bit of work.  It feels really odd to have a miss when the hit says it was perfect.
