[introduction]

this generator randomly generates poetry from a set collection of strings that you, the creator poet, can add to as well. please enjoy!

[controlling input]

the control panel is placed to the right side of the generator, from here, you control the input:

  1. write in the text input fields, possibilities:
    1. phrases, refrains,
    2. dialogue,
    3. words of power,
    4. lines of prose,
    5. secrets and whispers
    6. nothing at all
  2. consider whether any themes apply to your desired output, if they do, apply them

  3. determine the color of the poem

  4. determine if your poem requires a visual diagram, if so check the "img" check box
    1. NOTE: img only available if at least one theme has also been applied

  5. consider the grid size of output. the slider at the bottom of the control panel gives you the option of a 2, 3, or 4 grid system.

[decoding the output]

  1. the layout, set-up and reading order skewers the meaning
  2. the combinations of the input in the output, when done randomly, can lead to unexpected and novel phrasing and imagery
  3. images add meaning, while also subtracting the same
  4. as removed from their original context as these lines and phrases are, whatever meaning you derive from the resulting poems is wholly your own
