🌊 Collaboration, Innovation and Internationalisation! 🌊 These three themes were present at the "Bluebiotech Made in Portugal: From Innovation to Internationalisation" conference, organized by BlueBio Alliance. This conference featured 15 speakers, a roundtable discussion, and blue biotech solutions presented by startups. A special thank you to all the speakers who shared their insights on promoting blue biotech made in Portugal. We also want to express our gratitude to all the attendees who enriched the collaborative moments. Researcher Rita Almeida from FEUP (Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto) has developed a patented technology that stabilizes the natural characteristics of cork, preserving its original coloration and improving protection against UV radiation and thermal aging ☀️🌱 With the combination of cork and hematite nanoparticles, this innovative process ensures greater durability to solar exposure, transforming cork into a sustainable and viable solution for the automotive industry.
