Local 338 discovered that nearly 80% of their members did not have a PCP as many members were reluctant to take time off to attend in-person appointments. This was having a negative effect on total population health. With Teladoc Health’s integrated care, Local 338 expanded offerings to better meet the needs of union members, which resulted in nearly 8% average weight loss, a 12.9 mmHg reduction in systolic BP and a 2.1% reduction in A1C. #VirtualCare #ChronicCare #Hypertension #BloodPressure
