🇬🇧 Today, Startup Braga participated in the event "Innovate & Entrepreneur: Spin-offs and Interfaces at UMinho." We had the honor of welcoming Luis Marques Mendes, who, during his participation in the event, emphasized: "The idea that we are a small country must come to an end. Besides not being a small country, we are not irrelevant." Several startups from our ecosystem were also present: CRIAM, Gripwise, OmniumAI, PluggableAI, and Wellbeing Warrior, each with their own stand; eDynamics Technologies and OmniumAI stood out in the pitching session. Meanwhile, Ooze Nanotech, represented by co-founder Filipa Daniela, was highlighted in the session "Success Stories of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the School of Engineering." A big thank you to the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho for the invitation, and to all those who visited us — taking a bit of us with them and reinforcing the spirit of innovation. As Luis Marques Mendes said: "Innovation is the only great path for Portugal." 🚀 🇵🇹 Hoje, a Startup Braga marcou presença no evento "Inovar & Empreender: Spin-offs e Interfaces da UMinho". Tivemos a honra de receber a visita de Luis Marques Mendes, que, durante a sua participação na iniciativa, destacou: "A ideia de que somos um país pequeno tem de acabar. The day featured an insightful talk on Demystifying Investment Rounds, presentations from Cuatrecasas and Altice Labs, and a successful pitching session showcasing innovative startups. Attendees also enjoyed valuable 1:1 meetings and networking opportunities. We were especially thrilled to celebrate a major milestone for the community: PluggableAI has secured €1.75 million in seed funding, led by GED Ventures! 🎉 This funding round, which also saw participation from Portugal Ventures, will support PluggableAI's international expansion.
