We also garnered the Catalyst Award from the U.S. National Academy of Medicine, and achieved honors in the Santander X Portugal and EIT Health InnoStars. These accolades reflect our unwavering commitment to revolutionizing healthcare. 🥇 🇪🇺 Heartened by the EU's EIT Catapult, EIT Fast Track, and happy to be in the 2nd phase of the EIC Accelerator to contemplating the potential of our vision to secure the next phase €17,5 M in funding for our ambitious mission in healthcare innovation, particularly in the realm of personalized human organ creation. 🧬 🌐 In my role as the Representative of Research and Innovation of the Universidade do Porto in the European University Alliance of Global Health (EUGLOH), I've pushed the boundaries in research and innovation, contributing to vital global health initiatives. 🤝 🔬 Spearheading groundbreaking research in the creation of new human organs and the Human Embryo Atlas, we’re paving new paths in developmental biology and regenerative medicine, being the coordinator of three projects, national and international 🎓 Balancing an academic life as a medical student, an MBA candidate at Porto Business School (thankful for the Dean's scholarship), and a Ph.D. candidate in regenerative medicine at ICBAS- Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar and i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde 📚 🎤 Took to the stage as a keynote speaker in 6 of my participation in 14 conferences and congresses, sharing my work, lifestyle and igniting discussions in the healthcare sphere. 🗣️ 👨🏽⚕️ Clinically, at the moment, lying in oral surgery, where I focus on creating new smiles and making a tangible difference in people’s lives. 🌅 Reflecting on 2023, it's been a year of phenomenal growth, achievements, and the incredible support of my team and mentors.
