To accelerate the energy transition in Indonesia, the Greenvolt Group, in partnership with Spectrum-R, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Himpunan Kawasan Industri Indonesia (HKI) to assist Indonesia's industry in taking concrete steps in the energy transition process. Through Emerging Solar Indonesia (ESI), we're bringing renewable energy straight to businesses, advocating the use of solar power. One of the main initiatives will be the introduction of the Energy Sharing concept, an innovative energy-sharing solution already successfully implemented by the Greenvolt Group in Portugal. In this way, companies will be able to share among themselves the energy obtained from solar irradiation, with benefits both environmentally and financially, resulting from the reduction of their energy bills. Today, we celebrate Global Energy Independence Day 🌍, reminding everyone of the importance of taking decisive steps toward a future powered by #RenewableEnergy. We know that transitioning to cleaner energy is crucial to protect the environment and the planet. But, it's also essential to realize that achieving #EnergyIndependence and self-reliance is a matter of stability and security for nations, safeguarding them from geopolitical tensions, price fluctuations, or supply disruptions. We believe that diversifying energy portfolios and focusing on renewable sources should be a shared goal for everyone in the pursuit of a #sustainable and more resilient world.

Last week, as part of Greenvolt Group, we took the stage at Solarplaza Summit France in Paris. Tiago Braga da Cruz, Country Manager at Greenvolt Next France joined a panel with fellow industry leaders to discuss the "Opportunities and Challenges of C&I applications in France". Tiago shared his insights on the significant role of self-consumption in advancing the #Renewables landscape in the country and leveraged the global presence and expertise of Greenvolt and its local knowledge to highlight the industry's best practices to foster innovation in the sector💡 "The event was a great opportunity to engage with fellow industry leaders, share our insights, and discuss how our tailored solution contributes towards sustainable growth and innovation in the French PV sector.", said Tiago Braga da Cruz #EnergyNextToYou

The Greenvolt Group announced its results for the first quarter of 2024, with revenues reaching €101.6 million ( 60% compared to 1Q23). This growth was driven by significant increases in the #UtilityScale and #DistributedGeneration segments, which offset the lower contribution from the #SustainableBiomass business. Given the low electricity prices in the United Kingdom, penalizing the Sustainable Biomass segment, and the expected absence of asset rotation operations in Utility-Scale, the EBITDA totaled €18.7 million (-21% compared to 1Q23), and the net result attributable to Greenvolt, excluding the effect of discontinued operations, amounted to -€1.5 million, with the total net result attributable to the Group being -€2.7 million. Distributed Generation continues to show a growing backlog (signed contracts), reflecting increased market demand and strategic expansion, totaling 246.2 MWp to install, which represents a growth of 57% compared to 1Q23, with 71.2 MWp expected through PPAs. “The results recorded in this first quarter are not representative of Greenvolt’s expectations for the whole of 2024. We anticipate a significant improvement in activity, as well as profitability over the next few quarters, developing our project portfolio at the same time as implementing the strategy of asset rotation that we commit to with our stakeholders”, says João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group The Greenvolt Group remains confident in its strategic direction and anticipates a significant increase in results for 2024 compared to 2023, focusing on expanding its portfolio, enhancing its market position, and delivering long-term value to its stakeholders.
