Couraveg

CouraVeg is a non-profit annual congress were we aim to create a forum to discuss the benefits of sustainable living, focused on the pillars of vegetarianism: environmental and animal protection, health and economy. During the event, a multidisciplinary panel of speakers, scientists, activists, politicians and other specialists from all over the world discusses the impact of human behaviour on different areas: climate change, natural resource depletion, biodiversity loss, public health, animal welfare and other ethical issues. CouraVeg is a joint project of the municipality of Paredes de Coura, Portugal, and Association Quinta das Águas, focused on the development and promotion of sustainable and ethical living.
