#CEiiA associou-se ao lançamento do livro «Que pirâmide humana? O conhecimento e as opções de política pública em Portugal: 2000-2030» de Manuel Heitor Manuel Heitor e realizou a primeira sessão de debate que juntou Isabel Furtado, José Rui Felizardo, António M. Cunha e Emir Sirage moderada por Manuel Carvalho Partindo do ponto de vista do autor, o debate centrou-se em temas como a necessária articulação entre as políticas de ciência e tecnologia e a política industrial, a evolução da qualificação de pessoas e capacitação de instituições e os incentivos à inovação colaborativa e a necessária evolução da economia portuguesa em setores de elevado valor acrescentado. Sobre a obra “Partindo da analogia da «pirâmide humana», de Jean Rouch, para compreender os processos de construção social do conhecimento, Manuel Heitor propõe neste livro observar a evolução dos contextos de produção e difusão do conhecimento na sociedade portuguesa, a partir da qual procura tecer uma análise crítica sobre as condições necessárias ao desenvolvimento de uma sociedade maioritariamente feliz. A edição é, assim, dedicada à evolução das políticas públicas para a ciência, bem como da sua apropriação social, observando sobretudo o arco temporal desde a integração europeia (1986) até 2000- 2021, incluindo ainda uma análise prospetiva para 2030.”
