🌱 InnoProtein Project Six-month Review Meeting In a significant gathering yesterday, Biotrend SA, A4F-Algae for Future and the entire InnoProtein consortium came together at Technological University Dublin to assess the progress of our collaborative R&D project. This meeting was a testament to the strong partnership and shared commitment towards sustainable protein production. The project focus? Single Cell Proteins (SCPs) and insect proteins – promising high-protein alternatives cultivated in environmentally friendly conditions. 🌐 Our Role: Leading Work Package 3, Biotrend will be exploring the production of protein-rich biomass from methylotrophic bacterial strains and the heterotrophic fermentation of microalgae in WP2. Our role encompasses maximizing protein yield using green technologies and optimizing protein extraction processes. A big thank you to Technological University Dublin for hosting this productive meeting at the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute (ESHI) of the Technological University Dublin.
