The woman lives her day to day in the company of her neighbor Guiselle, a beautiful 12-year-old girl who is mistreated daily by her father Facundo. After a violent argument with Facundo, Georgina dies, and since Alcides wants to provide her with a dignified funeral, he undertakes a pilgrimage through the city, with her corpse in a cart, in search of the resources to bury her. During his journey, the old man encounters many obstacles, especially the indifference of most people.
