Here’s what to keep in mind for the next 120 days: 🔑 Obligate funds before September 30th: Ensure all funds are committed by the fiscal year-end to comply with 2 CFR 200.71. This helps avoid the risk of de-obligation or penalties. 🔑 Prepare for closeout: Finalize budget reviews, submit financial reports, and confirm all work is completed as outlined in 2 CFR 200.344. Starting early will ensure a smooth closeout process. 🔑 Submit final reports on time: To stay compliant and avoid delays in future funding opportunities, performance, financial, and final reports must be submitted within the 120-day closeout window.
