Rogue Meteor
Built for the 7-Day Roguelike Challenge, Rogue Meteor is a Retro Sci-Fi Rogue-ish game where you collect weapons, slay space monsters and try to collect a power source strong enough to get you off this god forsaken rock.
Development Credits
The game was designed and developed by Scott Meyer of Mutated Software and Michael Wilson of Ponywolf over a period of seven crazy days. It borrows heavily from the code base of RogueJack: Roguelike Blackjack. If you like this game, you may very well want to purchase a copy of RogueJack.

This is a beautiful game. Well done.
Hey! Thanks!
Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it with you ^^, hopefully it is useful to you :)
-The concept is interesting.-The gameplay mechanics are hard to understand and get into at first, but they end up becoming pretty solid after a few minutes of gameplay.
-The visual style is really interesting and I liked it :D
-I would make the difficulty grow as you progress in the game as it actually feels like there are pretty big spikes on it right at the beginning.
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Regards
Thanks
Great.
Thanks!
Nice work :)
Oxygen seems to be very oppressing.
If you don't enconter a mask or a helmet, it is impossible.
Note: Values in item (energy, O2, health) descriptions are wrong.
Yep. One of the hard spots in a 7-day challenge, not enough play testing! I'm sure we'll do a post-jam version fixing some of those issues.
I may be missing something but I keep running out of oxygen.
Masks, helmets and tanks all decrease your O2 use and blue power up refill your O2 meter. It’s the rough equivalent of food in a Roguelike game.
This is a really nice game. It feels quite well polished. The sounds are nice, the graphics are really good. Pleasing animations.
It feels like there is a really large amount of content here, so great job on that front. I like the messages you get to read as your exploring, that works really nicely.
It took me a while to figure out how to drop items from my inventory but I noticed the game did have a message for that at some point.
Great job! Its fun to play :)
Thanks again. Yeah, Shift # drops something from your inventory. We wanted to play with a limited inventory idea and I think that worked in the sense of really making decisions on what you roll with.
Oh, so that's how! I knew there had to be a way!
