VERO - True Social

It's great that it has no ads, they also claim that it's algorithm-free (of course it has algorithm but I guess what they mean is that the algorithm does not aim to maximize your time on the app or get you hooked to certain type of content, or something like that) but God it's buggy, slow and primitive. A lot of useful features are missing, scrolling gets messed up and so on and so forth. I hope it gets some TLC from developers soon.

Great app concept. Definitely can see this to kick off as Instagram replacement. Unfortunately, the whole app is poorly optimised. It is very laggy. For an app with no ads or algorithm, this should not have lagged. UI is very plain, but just optimise this properly. Remove the translucent overlay. 2 stars for great concept. -3 for poorly execution.

It's not you, Vero. It's me.After downloading the app a few days back I still have no clue whatsoever how it works.I have no audience, that means no feed. Building it seems like a long process. I thought Vero promised painless interaction but I have got zero interaction on my photos, nor have my comments on others' people work been noticed. Perhaps the point is to go unnoticed. It might have potential for some but to me it essentially seems as yet another time eater requiring endless scrolling:)
