A majority of U.S. surgeons believe their operating rooms are outdated, according to a new survey performed by Medtronic. Many say this issue is impacting patient care and contributing to burnout. Vipul Patel, MD, executive director of the Society of Robotic Surgery | SRS shared his thoughts.

Polish medtech Quantum Innovations has raised €9.4 million in its second funding round led by Vinci IQ ASI with participation from the company’s existing investor MedTech Holdings 🇵🇱💡 “Acquiring new and previously inaccessible precise signals from the organs and body parts undergoing surgery pushes the boundaries of our knowledge. TRIAL ON 70,000 PATIENTS: STILL NO WINNER BETWEEN ON-PUMP and OFF-PUMP CORONARY BYPASS SURGERY The study just published in the American Journal of Cardiology included data from 22 different trials. There is no winner but the recommendations from researchers are important: “Specialized training and expertise in revascularization procedures could foster innovation, improve outcomes, and enhance patient safety.
