🧬 New requirements for proactive post-market surveillance set by European regulations inspired the PMS team to seek solutions enhancing the detection of safety signals. AI and machine learning are among the innovative tools introduced at QIAGEN to serve this purpose. These tools support scientists in the literature review process and can track genetic variability of pathogens detected by QIAGEN diagnostic tests. ✅ This tool also facilitates the review of our product's use in the market. With this innovation, the PMS team can significantly reduce the omission of important data while nearly eliminating human error. Unlike manual literature reviews, which involve time-consuming screening of titles and abstracts, AI allows for the review of thousands of full-text articles in just a few seconds.
