The sun shone and there was an incredible atmosphere at the Level 20 DACH Summer Reception in Frankfurt, where the commitment to supporting women progress in private equity was celebrated. Last week, we were privileged to be part of the second edition of the Practical PE/VC Training Course, run by PSIK, the Polish Private Equity & Venture Capital Association in cooperation with Level 20 CEE. During the two-day course, students heard from some of the region’s leading private equity and venture capital practitioners, and had the opportunity to explore the industry in depth. Thanks to our colleague Edgar Kolesnik, who ran a session on Careers in Private Equity, and to Kamil Gajdzinski, who ran a workshop on an Introduction to Private Equity. The course was also enriched with case studies, including a deep dive into our investment in Velvet CARE sp. z o.o., showcased by Jakub Tokarski and Tomek Kujawa in their sessions on value creation strategies and investment exits. 🆕 Level 20 to launch regional chapter in CEE We are delighted to announce that, on 19 March in Warsaw, we will launch our newest regional chapter, covering Central and Eastern Europe. The event will be attended by Level 20 CEO, Gurpreet Manku, alongside representatives of the private equity industry from Poland, the Baltics, Romania and the Czech Republic. 🇵🇱🇷🇴🇨🇿🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 The Level 20 CEE Chapter will aim to create a strong community of women within the private equity sector in the region, inspiring each other to achieve success and set new standards for diversity in the industry.
