Effective communication is the foundation of international cooperation! 🌍 As a local committee of the EESTEC organization, we constantly strive to build strong relationships and lasting bonds with people from various corners of Europe. Working in international, and therefore culturally diverse teams, brings many challenges thanks to which we have the opportunity to improve our leadership competences and teamwork skills. Effective communication - the words contained in the first sentence are not without reason, because this is what the role of Vice-chairperson Contact Person is mainly about, in which Aleksandra Furyk found herself! 👏🏻 Through her involvement, she ensured the appropriate flow of information and the promotion of organized events internationally. Ola also provided invaluable support to people who decided to go to international events organized by other local committees. One of the largest projects was the preparation of representatives of EESTEC AGH Kraków for Spring Congress 2024 - both in organizational and substantive terms. 👩🏻💼 What skills did Ola value most during her tenure? ✔️ effective definition and delegation of tasks ✔️ gaining pleasure not only from achieving goals, but above all from the entire path towards their fulfillment ✔️ freedom of communication with people she has not had the opportunity to meet in person As an organization, we could enjoy numerous trips and international projects, all thanks to Ola's complete professionalism! 🌟

An organization is the people who create it! ✨ It is thanks to commitment, talent and teamwork that we, as EESTEC AGH Kraków, can achieve success and achieve our goals. That's why it's so important to take care of our relationships and build an environment in which everyone has a chance to spread their wings. The role of Vice-chairperson for HR in this process is invaluable - this year, this function on the Board of EESTEC AGH Kraków was performed by none other than Natalia Sławska! 👏🏻 Thanks to her energy and commitment, she effectively supported our community in building strong bonds and creating an inspiring atmosphere. Natalia was responsible for supervising autumn and spring recruitment, mentoring and implementation processes for new members, managing membership statuses and ensuring the organization's compliance with GDPR regulations. 📑 What skills did Natalia acquire or improve while performing her HR function? ✔️ team management ✔️ effective delegation of tasks ✔️ quick adaptation to changing situations ✔️ accuracy Together, as a well-coordinated team, we are able to achieve even more, especially with the support of leaders like Natalia! 🌟

A year full of challenges and successes! 🌟 With these words, we are honored to begin a series of summaries of the term of office of the EESTEC AGH Krakow Board 2023/24. The academic year coming to an end was full of amazing events, projects and trips, giving people associated with EESTEC a chance to develop both soft and hard skills. All this would not be possible without proper management of the organization - that is why we want the LinkedIn community to get to know better the members of the 2023/24 Board who together led our organization during this turbulent but fruitful time. 👩💼 Supervising the entire functioning of the Student Organization, the work of the Board and contact with the university authorities sounds like quite a challenge! However, there are no challenges that our Chairperson - Weronika Jach, cannot measure up to! 👏🏻 When asked what this role taught her, she said without hesitation: ✔️ responsibility, ✔️ effective decision-making, ✔️ effective discussion, Weronika does not hide that her activities on the Board also made her reflect deeply on her strategy and ideas, thanks to which she had the opportunity to develop her evaluation skills and improve her competences in project and team management. 💡 As the EESTEC AGH Kraków community, we are glad that Weronika is at the head of our organization in the academic year that is coming to an end. May there be no end to further successes! 💫

The ongoing semester has brought us many new experiences and emotions related to the spring events we organized. 💫 There were also a few changes! 🧩 6 months of preparation, 👥 5 irreplaceable coordinators, 👾 2 competitions, 🕺🏻 94 participants, 🛡️ 24 hours of fierce battle, 🍕 280 pieces of pizza eaten, 📱 24 projects completed, 🎖️ 6 reliable experts on the jury panel, 🏆 8 awarded teams This is how the Hacknarök event organized by EESTEC AGH Kraków looks like in numbers! ⚔️🏔️ This year, we organized the eighth edition of the 24-hour hackathon on Norse themes. Each edition of our hackathon provides a unique opportunity for collaboration and creative, innovative problem-solving 💡 The event once again confirmed its significance as a place for knowledge and experience exchange, fostering the development of future technological leaders! 🌐 On April 6-7, 2024, nearly a hundred participants competed in one of the two categories this year: Programming and Embedded. In the Programming category, teams took on the challenge of creating projects focused on keeping the attention of Vikings 🧠🖥️ While in the Embedded category, participants focused on developing systems to support life during the harshest Norse winter ❄️🚢 Huge applause and congratulations are due to all teams for creating impressive projects that showed how technology can impact life in extreme conditions! 👏🏻 Thank you for your creativity, competitive spirit, and perseverance in accomplishing these ambitious tasks 🔥 We are immensely grateful for the cooperation and unforgettable weekend we spent together with representatives from our partner companies. Programming marathons have become extremely popular in the world of technology! 🖥️ These are intense programming events where participants work in teams to create innovative solutions within a limited time ⏰ Gaining popularity, hackathons not only promote creativity and innovation but also provide an excellent opportunity for learning, networking, and skill development ⭐ Hacknarök 8 is coming soon, so we've prepared a few tips to help you succeed during the marathon 🔥⚔️ 🕒 Dedicate the first two hours of the hackathon to carefully draw up a plan. Remember to leave the implementation of additional, non-essential features until the end. This way, you'll avoid running out of time to create a functional project! 💡 If you're feeling tired but don't want to sleep, even a 15-minute walk will give you energy for extra hours of work. 🏆 Remember, having a great project is only half the battle! Spend the last hour of the hackathon planning your presentation for the Jury. They ultimately decide the winner. 🎒 Bring only the essentials to the hackathon. If you can manage without a second monitor, leave it behind. Workspace is limited, so not everything will fit. 👥 Don't hesitate to ask mentors for help throughout the hackathon. They're there for you! It's especially worthwhile to seek their guidance in defining the direction of your project. They often have commercial experience and know what will be innovative and appeal to the Jury. ⏳ Remember to take breaks! It's better to rest for 30 minutes in the chill-out zone than stare at the screen for 2 hours without doing anything productive. 👕 Wear comfortable clothes! Comfort is essential when spending 24 hours sitting in front of a computer! 🛌 If you plan to take a nap, bring a blanket or sleeping bag. It'll improve the quality of your sleep. 🤝 After finishing your work, exchange projects with other participants. See what others have achieved and share your accomplishments. Hackathon is all about having fun and meeting new people with similar interests. 🍽️ Don't forget to bring some snacks in case you get hungry in the middle of the night. With pleasure we would like to present another event that we are proud to organize this year! This time it is the international operational event CRedit 4.0, during which representatives from different corners of Europe will visit us to expand their knowledge of Corporate Relations. 💼 Created to pass on valuable knowledge from one generation to the next, it allows EESTEC members to develop their skills in business communication, negotiation and much more! 🫱🏼🫲🏻 The international event is also a chance to face working in a culturally diverse team. That's why, traditionally, an International Night and City Rally will be organized to showcase our local customs, delicacies and heritage of the city of Krakow. ❤️ The whole event will be overseen by five coordinators, whom we are pleased to introduce: Aleksandra Padło - Logistic Coordinator - Responsible from A to Z for the logistic side of the event and also has created a plan B, C and D for every situation. ☑️ Piotr Starzyk - Contact Coordinator - Taking care of the right flow of information both locally and internationally. 📧 Klaudia Czarnecka - Head Organizer - Oversees project deadlines and budget to ensure that event runs smoothly. Represents and brings together the entire coordination team. 👥 Wiktoria Krupa - Fun Coordinator - Responsible for organizing and ensuring a great fun during the International Night and City Rally, along with coordinating other leisure activities. ✨ Joanna Michalik - PR Coordinator - Ensures appropriate publicity for the event both locally and internationally. In addition, deals with the acquisition of barter partners. 💻

📣 Great news! 📣 The recruitment process at EESTEC AGH Kraków has come to a successful close!  We're thrilled to welcome 31 new members who are set to infuse our community with fresh energy and perspectives.😇 Throughout the recruitment process, we represented our organization at promotional stands. Our posters were displayed all over the campus, catching the attention of passersby. We also actively engaged on our social media platforms to reach as many students as possible.💪 A big shoutout to our fantastic team, spearheaded by Mateusz Setkowicz, Karolina Polkowska, Wiktoria Mielec and Miłosz Potoczny, whose hard work brought great success.❤️ Additionally, we would like to thank our year-round partner, ASSA ABLOY Group.
