Meet Ewa Rakowska, our Senior Lawyer and this month’s #AvaFinWomensLeader 🌟 💻 Since joining AvaFin over 5 years ago, Ewa has grown alongside the company, starting as a country lawyer in Poland and now managing group projects and supervising country lawyers across Poland, Czechia, and Latvia. 🌍 Outside of work, Ewa loves spending time with her family, enjoying barbecues, traveling and working in the garden. Our team in Mexico had an incredible time at our summer event in the beautiful Campo Krasiba! They came together for a team-building day full of fun and challenges 💪.   Joined by our CEO, Patrick Köck, the team embarked on a thrilling Survivor Challenge! Eight teams battled it out, testing their skills, creativity, and teamwork.   Afterward, they enjoyed delicious Mexican cuisine 🌮 and took some fantastic group photos.   Thanks to everyone who participated!

Summer is in full mode and to celebrate, our team in Latvia met up to enjoy a refreshing 15km trek through the forests and the charming city of Līgatne!   It was a day full of fun where they got to:   🌲 Explore scenic trails in the rain 🕵️♂️ Tour a bunker 9 meters underground 🍔 Relax with delicious food, drinks, and grilling 🧖♀️ Enjoy a sauna and play board games   We want to give a huge shoutout to Agnese, our HR colleague in Latvia, for coming up with such an amazing team-building activity! 🚶 🚶♀️ We’re excited to launch the second edition of #AvaWalk!  For the next month, we're setting our sights on walking around the entire world! 🌎 But beyond the distance, our true goal is to empower our teams to embrace an active lifestyle, prioritize both physical and mental well-being, and achieve a healthy work-life balance. Last year, we surpassed our goal of walking the distance between all our offices. We walked more than 49 million steps, which helped plant 235 trees that are now growing in Latvia. 🌳 We can't wait to see what our team can achieve this year as they #Walk4Wellness! 🚀 IT Week 2024 at AvaFin was a tremendous success!   From June 3rd to 6th, we celebrated AvaFin's IT Week with an exciting blend of workshops and team-building activities.   Our IT team got together to share their ideas in technical workshops covering Agile Health Radar, Maturity Models and much more! The diversity of topics also sparked insightful feedback sessions, making for an enriching experience.   The week wrapped up with unforgettable teambuilding on Wednesday and Thursday at Castle Schlaining in Austria, where our team enjoyed Knight Games and strengthened bonds.   A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this week unforgettable!   #ITWeek2024 #AvaFin #Agile #TeamBuilding

Our Marketing and Sales Director for Poland, Artur Kowalski, had an amazing experience as a jury for the startup and scaleup competition at the Carpathian Startup Fest, an incredible event that brings together startups, investors, corporate partners and media. Artur was thrilled to contribute by evaluating the bright minds and innovative ideas of all participants.
