Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) hosted the second Corporate Briefing Session of FY 2023-24 at its Head Office in Islamabad on Friday, June 14, 2024, in collaboration with KTrade Securities. The event garnered a significant turnout, with market analysts, brokerage house members, shareholders, and employees participating both onsite and virtually via MS Teams. During the session, Mr. Nabeel Rasheed, CFO MPCL, provided an in-depth overview of the Company’s business activities during the first nine months of FY 2023-24. He presented the Company's financial performance and shared updates on ongoing exploration, production, and development projects. A brief outline of company’s expansion plans in the energy and mining sectors was also shared. A subsequent Q&A session, provided an opportunity to the participants to ask questions around the Company’s operations, strategies and goals, which were amply responded by senior management. The participants acknowledged and applauded company transparency and forthcoming approach in taking all stakeholders on board through dissemination of vital information. Mr. Faheem Haider, MD/CEO expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders for their support, reaffirming MPCL's commitment to maintaining its legacy of ensuring the country’s food and energy security through its responsible and sustainable operations. He underscored the Company’s dedication to operational excellence, community engagement, and environmental stewardship as core components of its mission.

Mari Services Division (MSD) is an integral part of MPCL equipped with three seismic data acquisition units, a state of the art seismic data processing center, a mud logging unit and five drilling rigs having capacity from 750 HP to 2500 HP. Recently, MSD has commissioned a brand new, state-of-the-art 750 HP Drilling Rig, capable of drilling up to 2500 Meters, equipped with latest technologies including TDS and VFD systems. This addition brings the total number of MSD drilling rig fleet back to five which had dropped to four due to decommissioning of an old rig. Following a comprehensive FAT and SAT process the Rig has been successfully commissioned and is drilling its first well in Mari Field Daharki. On this momentous occasion, senior management of MPCL visited the rig site and reiterated MPCL’s resolve to continue to bring technology and operational excellence to support the extensive E&P activities of MPCL.

Rebuilding Lives: MPCL's Continues to Make a Difference - Mari Gharonda Program in Abegum (Machh)" In 2022, the devastating floods in Sindh and Balochistan left countless communities in ruin. But from the ashes, hope rises! As part of our comprehensive Flood Response Program, MPCL is proud to be reconstructing 45 damaged houses in Abegum (Machh) under MARI GHARONDA program. This initiative is just one of many projects we've undertaken and completed to support affected communities, including the installation of water filtration plants, rehabilitation of schools and medical facilities. On May 19th, MPCL celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration and handing over ceremony of 12 newly constructed houses to the flood affected families. The event was attended by local communities, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), and MPCL officials. Our Flood Relief & Rehabilitation Program is a testament to MPCL's commitment to supporting those in need and contributing to the rebuilding of affected communities. “Safety Day 2024” celebrations by Services Division of Mari Petroleum: Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of employees, the environment, and the local communities is essential due to complex operations, high-risk activities, and the possibility of catastrophic incidents in the oil and gas sector. Maintaining outstanding HSE performance is a core value of MPCL and has been made possible through devoted senior leadership and commitment of all employees. Mari’s Services Division in close collaboration with our HSE department held the 1st Safety Day to highlight the importance of HSE and to encourage the MSD team for their consistent adherence to the best industry practices and international standards. The theme of the safety day was” Committed to Safety Excellence". MD/ CEO Mari Petroleum, Mr. Faheem Haider, highlighted the vision of MPCL and said that MPCL is committed to promote and pursue excellence in the safety of everyone impacted by our exploration and production activities. He focused on embracing sustainable practices, reducing carbon footprint and implementing technologies for minimizing environmental impact. Mr. Faheem Haider appreciated MSD team's fieldwork and also expressed MPCLs commitment to empowering staff members by creating a culture where safety is a top priority and offering extensive training programs in this regard. This was followed by interactive sessions highlighting Safety Leadership and Logistics Safety. The day ended with award distributions for excellence shown in the field of HSE by our services team
