We are elated to have Savera Hassan and Minhal as the second pair of hosts for the "Sada-e-Manto All Karachi Declamation Contest." Savera Hassan, Director of Team Logistics at KUDS, is known for her creative contributions, overseeing the visual direction of videos/skits, and serving as a makeup artist and hair stylist for events. She is also a skilled 2D artist and is a talented photographer and videographer as well. Her excellent performance in logistics earned her a gold medal from the Vice Chancellor of Karachi University. Minhal, a sociology student and Urdu Wing Coordinator at KUDS, is an award-winning orator. With victories in competitions such as the Youth Parliament at Nazeer Hussain University and the Agha Hassan Abedi Declamation Contest at FAST, she is also a Gold Medalist at Karachi University. Additionally, Minhal has also served as a guest speaker at the Arts Council of Pakistan. Manahil Imran is a talented Biotechnology student who will 24 serve as the House Opening Speaker. With impressive wins in declamation 4 competitions at Whales College and Greenwich University, Manahil's public speaking skills showcase her talent. As a published poetess and KUDS English Wing's Coordinator, she embodies creativity and leadership. Ahmed Minhas, a renowned public speaker with 12 years of experience, will be our House Closing Speaker. A distinguished Urdu Department student and KUDS Urdu Wing Coordinator, Ahmed has won All Karachi Declamation, Radio Pakistan, and Metro New Intra School Speech Competitions. His credentials also include BOL semifinalist and ARY Shan e Ramazan quarterfinalist. We are thrilled to introduce the dynamic first pair of hosts for the 'Sada-e-Manto' - All Karachi Declamation Contest, Noor ul Ain and Ayesha Rafiq. Noor ul Ain, a political science student has been active in the debating circuit since 2017. As a passionate MUN participant, Noor has chaired and organized several MUNs, including the Annual Appalachian Model Arab League, where she earned the Distinguished Delegate Award. She is also a gold medalist and former exchange student to the USA. Co-hosting with her is Ayesha Rafiq, a third-year student at the University of Karachi who currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Urdu Wing at KUDS. She has excelled in both Urdu and English declamations, with notable achievements including runner-up in ARY QTV’s speech competition and winning PTV’s Rabi ul Awwal Transmission in 2023. Ayesha is also a double gold medalist of Karachi University. Professor Urooj Saadat currently serves as the Assistant Professor of English at Sir Syed Government Girls' College, holding a Master's in English Linguistics. She actively supports English debates and co-curricular activities, with a notable record of coaching students to success in declamation competitions. Noor Us Sabah Tauqeer is a KU faculty member, published author, and accomplished orator. With exceptional wins like the Great Debate 2017 and a Bristol Prize nomination, she brings unparalleled expertise and passion to public speaking. Aleezeh Fatimah Hashmi is an award-winning debater, former President of KUDS, and currently serving as a journalist with Dawn News.
