Local interwiki links with no page title should point to the main page
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Local interwiki links with no page title should point to the main page of the wiki.

For example, the wikitext [[en:]] on enwiki doesn't parse. For the benefit of cross-wiki transclusion, copy-pasting of templates between wikis, etc., this link should work, linking to the Main Page.

Similar but different:

  • This bug relates only to local interwiki prefixes.
  • With this bug, local interwiki links with no title are not being parsed at all. In the other bug, the links are parsed correctly but point to the wrong place.
