Description

Possibly as a natural consequence of the work for T182041, or maybe otherwise, it seems to me like it would make sense for the default display of a math, even without display=block in the wikitext, to provide block HTML and display as a block when it is present on a newline.

This is technically not possible to realize from within the math extension, as the extension can only see the latex code within the tag and the attributes passed to the extension.
