Previously the additional, but unnecessary step of selecting the template was skipped if there were only one template and no additional content between the ref-tags. Now it seems like the extra step is always present, even if there is only a single template. This makes it more cumbersome to edit the cite template for the most common cases.
I can't find any rationale for this change, most likely because I don't know where to look for it… Any clues? Any good explanation why it is done?
