Hi,
Thanks for all who worked on this update. I think it is updated now. There seems to be a problem. There were already many pages with "ஆசிரியர்:" before this was equated to author namespace. All those pages are seems to be deleted. now none of the pages exist. Does it happen like this? is there any way to recover those pages. Because there were quite a number of such pages.

"ஆசிரியர்:" pages are back. I have a doubt. Is the Author equivalent namespace created?

The "ஆசிரியர்" (Author) and "ஆசிரியர் பேச்சு" (Author_talk) namespaces can be selected at s:ta:Special:AllPages and s:ta:Special:PrefixIndex, so, yes, the namespaces have been created.

@Balajijagadesh Is that what you meant by "Author equivalent"? The "Author_talk:" namespace?

@Urbanecm It looks like the following page titles listed at s:ta:Special:PrefixIndex/Talk: should have been moved into the "Author_talk:" namespace, but weren't. They are currently inaccessible on-wiki ("bad title" errors):

• ஆசிரியர்:கவியரசு முடியரசன்
• ஆசிரியர்:பண்டிதர் க. அயோத்திதாசர்

Note also the following "Broken" title, which presumably came from running the maintenance script:

• s:ta:Talk:Broken/id:2825

You can probably rename these two pages through the page id.

While we are typing as Author:(author name) in the url or in the search field it is not translating automatically into Tamil language ஆசிரியர். But for other namespaces such as Index, Page, mediawiki etc is properly translating in Tamil if we type these namespaces in English in url or search page. Kindly create the link for Author --> ஆசிரியர் namespaces.

I can't really help with this, since I don't know which configuration allows for the kind of automatic translation you're talking about (I'm not a sysadmin or developer).

@Dereckson Is this just a namespace aliases thing? (None are currently defined for the wiki under 'wgNamespaceAliases'.)
