We have lifted the Wikimedia participation limit of only one GSoC/Outreachy internship per student, considering:

1. Repeating configuration of teams would ensure continued work in ongoing projects
2. Google set a limitation of maximum of 3 times as a GSoC student in their lifetime
3. More long term contributors and quality work
4. Discussions in T124392

Few things to note:

• Previous intern who had participated in one Outreachy project can still participate in 2 GSoC rounds with Wikimedia, but not three ( which would total 4 internships ).

Contacting past mentors and students need to happen asap as the program is drawing near. Some checkpoints:

• announce in Wikitech-l and other mailing lists
• create conpherence for previous mentors and students ( separate ? )
