Upgrade Elastica extension
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Elastica is the Elasticsearch PHP client we use in Cirrus. There is some new functions that could be useful to Cirrus. Today we have to "hack" the Query parameters with setParam in order to activate some features available in Elasticsearch that are not implemented in Elastica.

@dcausse Can you explain how this task benefits our users, so I can understand and appropriately prioritise it? Thanks!

This is mostly a technical task, there's no noticeable benefit for our users. I guess this is something we will have to do sooner or later, while working on cirrus I encountered the problem two times and I always found a workaround. I think it's not a priority.
