When corporate responsibility, child rights, and the Filipino bayanihan spirit come together. Delighted to have renewed our long-standing partnership with Cebu Pacific Air through which passenger can support UNICEF Philippines work for children via in-flight contributions. Although the Change for Good programme is a global UNICEF campaign, what makes the partnership with Cebu Pacific Air so special is that it is the only one in the world with an airline from a country where UNICEF implements a country programme. This is a clear reflection of Cebu Pacific’s strong sense of corporate citizenship and the generosity and “bayanihan” spirit of the people of the #Philippines. Looking forward to the next phase of our partnership through which we will look to engage Cebu Pacific staff and passengers as agents of change for children.
Cebu Pacific has renewed its partnership with UNICEF for its new Country Program for Children 2024-2028, reaffirming its commitment to empowering Filipino youth and supporting local communities. Since 2016, CEB has actively participated in UNICEF’s Change for Good campaign, a global initiative that aims to convert spare change of passengers into life-saving supplies and services for children in need. Over the past eight years, the program has successfully raised more than 91 million pesos for UNICEF’s lifesaving programs for children in health and nutrition, education, protection, social policy, and emergency relief.
