Peterhead Academy will have a delayed opening this morning, with school starting at 0930. This is to give pupils, parents and staff more time to travel, ensuring there are enough staff in the building to deliver the lessons.
Pupils should come to school no earlier than 0930 and go straight to their period 2 lesson on arrival; there will be no registration or period 1 lesson today.
All bus companies cancelled today except - NS477A26 Rora, St Fergus, Inverugie (Kineil Coaches). They will be collecting pupils at the usual time and pupils should report to the Community Theatre when they arrive in school. If any pupils who normally get a bus come to school by other means, they must be able to get home, as if a bus does not run in the morning it will not run in the afternoon.
