3 Days - Gamejam Version
A downloadable Monstrosity for Windows
WARNING: MIXELS RIXELS FLAMBIXELS AND STIXELS MAY OR MAY NOT BE PRESENT DURING GAMEPLAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
also maybe bugs too
Synopsis:
You're locked in a warehouse full of flesh-eating vampires for three days. When the three days are up, the doors unlock and you're free to go. Until then survival is up to you.
Game:
Each 'day' is five minutes of real time, so after fifteen minutes if you're still alive you automatically win the game, no matter if you just stood in one spot for fifteen minutes or spent your time crafting a trap base worthy of the vampire slaying gods.
- Combat:
You're given a baseball bat at the start, but that's the only weapon you'll get. So pair that with a bunch of deadly traps if you hope to survive.
- Traps:
Traps come in six varieties and are as follows: Bear Traps, Flammable Tar, Shock Pool, Holy Cross, Spinning Blade, and RC Car. Bear traps and bottles of flammable tar must be found, but the rest are crafted from parts found in the warehouse.
- Crafting:
Each trap (aside from the bear trap and flammable tar) requires certain parts to be crafted which are listed under the respective trap on the inventory. Upon collecting the parts, click the button next to the trap to craft it, then hit the corresponding number key to equip it in-game.
Controls (WIP):
WASD - Movement
Hold Shift - Sprint
Space - Attack
Tab - Inventory/Crafting Screen
1-6 - Equip Traps
Z, C- Zoom Camera Out/In
F - Place/reset trap
Q - Throw match
R - Bandage yourself
Escape - This kills the game.

Super cool concept, pretty fun to play. I included it in my AGDG Halloween Game Jam compilation video series, if you'd like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/1vbKEuv0cCY
wow thanks for that!
the numbers on the crafting screen are corresponding to the number keys, and that's which trap you have 'equipped.' So with a holy cross crafted, you hit 4 to equip it and F to place it as a trap.
I played the game for a bit until I figured it out.
What I forgot to say in the video was that... the game feels empty. The rooms are way too big. The tiles on the bottom are boring. But the base concept of it is really good. If you expanded on this some more I'd love it, maybe have a forest setting or a jungle or even a city, give it some life... right now it just feels like I'm in a test chamber I did some reviews for other games but with this I really didn't have much to say I just played through it and didn't make a lot of observations and I'm sorry for that. Here you go.
I've taken a bunch of stuff from this guy's recommendations and added them to the game. Tried to make it feel less empty and added like 10x the item spawns.
