My top 5 questions to ask at Personality Psychometric feedback/coaching session: 1: How would you describe your personality? Even before we open any report, this question comes first, as it is the self narrative the person has about themselves and to what extent it is reflected or not in the personality report, is what we are working with. Thank you Olga Vysotska for the question. 2: What do you people get wrong about your personality? We all have a self narrative and what’s even more fun is that other people that know us have a narrative about us. In a room or 10 people there is 10 versions of you, one how you see yourself and 9 how other people see you based on their interpretation of your behaviour. And there are varying degrees of overlap :) 3: What aspects of your Personaltiy that you consciously manage at work and why? We behave in different ways depending on the circumstances, but the question is depends on what? It is amazing how feedback people received decades ago can influence the way the behave now, such as “you should be less emotional at work” not only have the workplace change but the individual might have changed themselves by now. The dynamics of personality and behaviour are fascinating. 4: What is interesting/useful about it? Can you tell me more about that? When the client says “that’s interesting”/ that’s useful” it is facinating to explore a little deeper into what they mean by that, and the it can be very interesting what comes from that. 5: What are you taking away from the session? It is fascinating what the individual is taking away from the previous hour, what are they planing to implement, try out? That is the value of the session. And for me if the client is a couple percent more curious about themselves and others, and couple of percent less judgmental about themselves and others, the session is a success. What are your favourite questions?
