The Office of Human Rights (OHR) is required to provide an annual report on the enforcement progress of the DC Human Rights Act to both the Mayor and the Council of the District of Columbia. This report encompasses various facets such as case dockets, closures, and the benefits achieved by successful complainants. Furthermore, it highlights the annual activities of OHR and the Commission on Human Rights, including community outreach, educational programs, compliance initiatives, mediation efforts, and fair housing endeavors.
OHR is also mandated to publish annual reports outlining the progress made in implementing the DC Language Access Act of 2004 across District agencies, as well as gathering data on sexual harassment complaints. Under the Sexual Harassment Data Collection and Reporting Act of 2022, District government agencies must track and report annually on sexual harassment complaints their employees raise, the outcomes of those complaints, and any financial settlements resulting from those complaints from each fiscal year.
To access specific annual reports, refer to the respective sections:
- Agency Performance Reports
- Language Access Compliance Reports
- Sexual Harassment Data Collection Act Report
OHR's annual reports, issued for District residents, encompass data collected throughout the fiscal year, spanning from October 1 to September 30.
