We're haka nuts at Wawata Creative and it's haka season with the whakataetae a rohe (regional kapahaka competitions) starting this weekend in Torere. Our Directors, Inia and Rongopai are gearing up to stand with Ngāti Rangiwewehi while two of our designers will stand with Te Whānau-a-Apanui and Hekenga a Rangi. Kapahaka is in our blood and one of many art forms that shape our thinking. Celebrate and support the growth of kapahaka in your region by attending with your friends and whānau.
