As you may know, Tainui Group Holdings (TGH) is the wholly owned commercial entity of Waikato-Tainui with responsibility to protect and grow the commercial assets of our iwi. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Board as a Shareholder Director. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and long-term success of our Iwi. In accordance with the Constitution of TGH, Waikato-Tainui is now seeking to recruit one shareholder director who is not a member of the governing bodies of Waikato-Tainui. Today we announced the planned departure of our CEO Chris Joblin in mid-November this year. We are going to greatly miss his leadership, vision and inspiration. In coming up to 10 years as CEO, Chris has led the team to build nearly $1 billion in value for Waikato-Tainui, create a high-performance culture and kick some great goals for our built environment. Winners at the @ Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards are 'the best of the best; projects that provide an outstanding return or delivery of service potential on investment of funds, creating value for owners, tenants and the wider community'. So we're delighted to congratulate the Maersk team on taking out the CBRE Industrial Property Award on Friday night, winning the 'Excellence and Best in Category' award for their new temperature controlled facility at Ruakura Superhub. Two TGH-owned buildings were also recognised at the awards. Maersk's neighbour at Ruakura Superhub - the TGH-owned Kmart distribution centre - was also recognised with a Merit award in the same category. Amohia Ake, the office block we built for ACC New Zealand, was also awarded a Merit in the RCP Commercial Property Award.
