MBP Christchurch had a great turnout for the recent South Island Mapei TNS Sports Flooring and Urban Coating training. Contractors from NZ wide spent the day learning about a number of our unique and versatile Mapei Sports and Urban coating systems along with getting some hands on training when the buckets where opened. You can bet 'dollars to donuts' that when it comes to premium industrial flooring solutions, Mapei has it covered! Recently, a number of Mapei's fantastic range of Industrial Flooring systems were used to protect the processing and warehousing floors of the the iconic donut manufacturer, Dunkin Donuts. This new facility required a mixture of high heat resistance flooring for around the baking ovens and hard wearing smooth finishes for the packaging and warehousing areas. The Mapefloor CPU/DP and Mapecoat SF were installed around the ovens to provide heat and slip resistance and the packaging and warehouse areas were coated with the heavy duty food grade epoxy, Mapefloor I 302 SL. The Mapefloor CPU/DP system is a unique heavy duty polyurethane resin technology with exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals, heavy impact and extreme temperatures.
