We were honoured to win the esteemed Taspac ‘Best Off-Grid System’ Award at the National 2023 SEANZ Awards on Friday 22nd September 2023, for our entry of integrating a solar and battery system with existing hydro at the remote Dingleburn Station, Lake Hawea. This recognition highlights our company's dedication to innovation, sustainability and excellence in the renewable energy sector. The SEANZ - Sustainable Energy Association of New Zealand Awards are an annual event that celebrates the remarkable achievements and contributions of organisations and individuals in the sustainable energy industry nationwide. Infinite Energy NZ has demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing the field of off-grid energy systems. The Dingleburn installation is a great example of the marriage of new technologies into an aging, existing hydro scheme. The use of solar & batteries gives greater resilience - and brings reliability to the power system. Solar & batteries ensure no more middle of the night missions to the hydro inlet during storms to clear rocks and ice in order to maintain power!
