The marketing team at Ideally is growing 🤩 This week we welcomed two superstars, Greg Synnott joins Ideally as our new Content & Comms Lead and Madison Ford joins as our new Brand Designer.
Greg was previously at WellingtonNZ, where he was the senior digital and content manager. He is passionate about storytelling and pushing creativity as far as it can go, particularly when it comes to working with others.
Madison (Madie) joins us from top design studios Alt Group, Previously Unavailable and Studio Round. She's a design gun and we can't wait to see her talents unleashed on the Ideally brand.
Welcome Greg and Madie!

⭐ Why Ideally?
The people and the idea. I've been crying out for years for people to test their creative ideas before they put everything into it and this platform is proof of that concept working.
⭐ What's one innovation that changed your life?
My phone, I think. Having my bank, menu, record collection and everything else fit in my pocket has been game changing. I genuinely don't think the world understands how fast everything has changed since the first iPhone came out.
⭐ Where or when do you get your best ideas?
I get my best ideas when I get to whiteboard off the right people. Having people push your thinking and challenge your thinking tends to be my favourite way to brainstorm and elevate ideas.

⭐ Why Ideally?
I was excited to get back into the world of start-ups, having worked at Previously Unavailable in the design team and being surrounded by inspiring companies with disruptive ideas. I love how Ideally really champions brand, stands out in its category, and the product truly fosters creative ideas, thinking, and innovation. The growth opportunities are super exciting, and I can't wait to be along for the ride with such a passionate and enthusiastic team.
⭐ What’s one innovation that changed your life?
Anyone who knows me would agree numbers aren’t my strength. So, Splitwise Inc. has definitely been a game-changer for me. I also love using Wise when travelling. Not only is it a clever innovation, but the brand is also 👌 💯
⭐ Where or when do you get your best ideas?
Annoyingly, when I am trying to switch off at night. I usually have a list of notes in my phone with new concepts and design approaches that have come to me during the night, which I test out the next day. I also love a good brainstorming session. I often find that bouncing around thoughts, even as a starting point, can lead to some great ideas down the track.
