Last Wednesday, we had the privilege of putting on a unique 'Meet the Owner' event for our members in Canterbury, hosted by David Hayes and the Thermosash Commercial Limited team in Christchurch. We were fortunate to hear the inspiring stories of both Thermosash Commercial Limited, shared by David, and St Pierres Sushi, presented by Costa and Nick Katsoulis. Although from very different sectors, these two businesses share a common thread: a strong commitment to quality - both in the products they deliver and in the people they employ, forming the backbone of their thriving family business teams. A huge thank you for your valuable insights and for sharing your extraordinary intergenerational stories with our members. #FamilyBusiness #FBA #MeetTheOwner #Connection #Community
On Tuesday evening, FBA members and guests were hosted by 25-year-old, 2nd generation family business, All Secure Self Storage Ltd at their Tidal Road, Airport location, for our August Meet the Owner event in Auckland. Members were treated to a behind the scenes tour of the storage facilities, and shown the state-of-the-art proprietary IT systems which give the business their competitive edge. They also shared their business model which is set up for growth and expansion through investments in warehouse locations that are ideal for storage and complimentary tenants. A special thanks to Hamish, Keith, Lynley Edwards and the James family for having us. #FBA #FamilyBusiness #Storage #Growth #Innovation #MeetTheOwner #Connection #Community #Networking
