On 5-6 June, New Zealand school students descended on Parliament to model the European Union. The commitment and insights displayed by the students over these two days were remarkable. They are emerging as global citizens, ready to take on future challenges. Launching our Model EU interview series with three students who brought great discussions to the New Zealand Parliament. 🎤✨

Collaborated with Manawatū Business Chamber and the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Inc. (GNZCC) to grow EU-NZ business connections in Palmerston North and the Manawatū region. Fantastic day yesterday at Victoria University of Wellington. Started with a Meet and Greet with the university's senior leadership team, including Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Māori and Engagement. It was great to hear from researchers about their diverse and impactful research projects connected with the European Union. 🇪🇺🤝🇳🇿 Highlighted Horizon Europe, the EU's key funding programme for research and innovation, and the world’s largest research fund. New Zealand is among the first industrialised country outside Europe to associate with Horizon Europe, allowing its research organisations to bid for funding on the same terms as their European counterparts.
