Meet Taylor from Orokonui Ecosanctuary - Te Korowai o Mihiwaka, a spot nestled in Dunedin's coastal forest, where the only gridlock you'll find involves a pair of tūī debating territorial rights, and a morning coffee comes with a side of natural wonder. Orokonui isn't just a sanctuary for native wildlife; but a getaway for anyone wanting to swap the city's hustle for a chorus of kākā and a bit of peace and quiet (except from the kākā). We caught up with Taylor while we were in Dunedin this week to ask him a few boring questions about his love for wildlife and the Otago region. Hello Dunedin. Join us for the next instalment of Boring® Breakfast, in partnership with The Spinoff. Speights, apricots, oats – Otago is a bread basket, and there’s plenty of interesting work happening around the region to keep it that way. Food security and sustainability are top of mind for Miranda Mirosa, Head of the Food Science Department at University of Otago, and Rory Harding, founder of George Street Orchard. Join our guests and host Sophie Gilmour to celebrate and eat local kai and to explore a better food future for Aotearoa. Interested in coming along? RSVP to [email protected] by July 22nd to save your seat. #boringbreakfast #dunedinnz #thespinoff

Next Friday 28th June is Matariki, and the Boring® team will be celebrating the beginning of Māori New Year by spending the long weekend star gazing, sharing kai with family and friends and reflecting on the year behind us.    The Boring® factory will be closed on Friday, and any orders placed on this day will be dispatched the following Monday once our team is back on deck. To guarantee your oat milk supply for the long weekend, we recommend placing your order before 10am Tuesday 25th June. #oatmilk #newzealand #boringmilk

Meet Jo, the guardian of all things Quality, Compliance, Research and Development at Boring® HQ. If you've ever wondered how each bottle of Boring® Oat Milk tastes consistently delicious and makes it safely to your fridge, Jo's the one leading the charge. It's like having a superhero who fights off all the bad guys with a clipboard and a lab coat instead of a cape. From the first sip to the last, Jo is the very clever wahine ensuring Boring® is ready for its close-up, no matter if it's in the comfort of your home or in your favourite café. She's the reason you can trust Boring® to be, well, anything but boring. Continue reading: https://lnkd.in/epBureFH

Say hello to our friends, Ruby and Alicia from Parrotdog. A place certified 'neat' by locals and out-of-towners alike, Parrotdog Bar is an easygoing and retro pub slash tavern tucked behind the dunes of Lyall Bay in Wellington. In partnership with Neat Places, we asked the team at Parrotdog Bar a few boring questions so you can get to know them, and their neat place, a little better. Meet Paul, the go-to guy for all things procurement and operations at Boring® HQ. He's the quiet hero in the loud shirts behind the seamless dance of boxes and bottles that keep the shelves stocked and Boring® Milk flowing. A bit like a chess master of logistics, always three moves ahead, ensuring that our operations don't just run—they practically pirouette. So, while the factory floor might not have spotlights, if it did, they'd surely be on Paul. We asked Paul some questions so you can get to know him better. Continue reading: https://lnkd.in/eMR7jPVm

Thanks to our mates at Neat Places, it's never been easier to track down your next Boring flat white. We're pleased to announce the recent launch of the Boring Cafe Finder, now live on boringmilk.com. Neat Places is our favourite guide to the neatest things to do, eat, drink, see, visit, and experience around Aotearoa. They uncover and profile some of the best spots around the country so you can keep on top of new cafes in your neighbourhood, or pin for your next road trip. When we asked Neat Places if we could tap into their treasure trove of hotspots, to our delight they said "you betcha. Boot up the mainframe and let's get cracking." After spending some time untangling cords, you can now check out their hand-picked locales from the Boring Café Finder on our website: https://lnkd.in/dsz8JSCs #boringcafes #neatplaces #newzealand

In a tucked-away corner of Boring® HQ, amidst a symphony of beeps and conveyor belts, you'll find Gus. He’s the Warehouse Lead, the unsung maestro conducting an orchestra of cartons and forklifts. While others may wander starry-eyed in the glow of the fluorescent lights, Gus keeps his feet firmly planted on the concrete, orchestrating the place with the efficiency of Swedish flat-pack furniture assembly—only much more laid-back, and with significantly less ABBA tribute acts. Despite the flawless Swedish efficiency, rest assured, the only thing Scandinavian about our factory is how cold it is back there. We asked Gus some questions so you can get to know him better. Earlier this year we made some updates to our packaging. Whether you enjoy your Boring® at home or make oat milk flat whites for the masses - we changed our sleeves and lids to make our bottles easier to open (especially when you're in a hurry) and easier to recycle. There's no perfect solution for packaging, but we're always looking for it. We're extra pleased to be a couple of steps closer to packaging our Mums can be proud of. Less plastic, more recyclable, same oat milk. You can read more about the changes here: https://lnkd.in/eJErqGkH
