Cartography Demo

Cartography is a charming and relaxing exploration game where you play as an aspiring cartographer, venturing out to explore various exciting locations, discover landmarks, photograph animals, and uncover unique secrets in each map.

This is an early build for testing and getting the idea of what we want Cartography to be out there, to also consider feedback from players.

Update 1.01:

We are happy to push a small update with quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
In detail:

1. Energy is now affecting walking/running speed (need to collect apples).

2. Added redo and undo buttons on the drawing board.

3. When closing and opening the drawing board up again, the last selected color is saved.

4. Switched photo gallery to carousel and the bugs regarding the gallery are fixed.

At this stage you can:

1. Walk around the first map, use the visual references and your compass to try and draw the map level as accurately as you can/want.

2. Once you're happy with your progress you can click compare map to see how well you did.

3. You can photograph animals and points of interest that act as collectibles.

What we are working on:

1. Sleeping mechanics.

2. Energy affecting walking speed.

3. Currency & shopping mechanics (selling taken photos to buy different markers).

4. Swimming.

5. Vehicles for the next planned levels that are bigger and more complex.

6. Main hub & tutorial level (also will be for shopping/selling).

7. More content overall, wildlife, maps, secrets, dreams mini games etc.

We are also currently working on overhauling the  entire UI.

Known Bugs:

1. The resolution settings sometimes do not work.

2. The glider may sometimes randomly appear when spamming the interaction key "E".
