This week, we attended the IDF World Dairy Summit 2024 in Paris, France 🌍 🐄 . Sustainability was a key theme at every scientific session, and various strategies for environmental improvement and reducing GHG emissions were discussed. Julia Dvorska presented our promising results on methane mitigation using bypass protein. Enteric fermentation accounts for 30% of anthropogenic methane emissions. Protecting proteins from ruminal microbes not only increases milk yield but also contributes to reducing methane emissions. #IDFWDS2024 #borregaard #bypassprotein #soypass #sustainability

🐟 Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting one of our customers - a salmon farming plant outside Bergen, Norway. 🐟 Did you know that by-products from both farmed species and wild fish are used as raw materials for fish silage preservation? Fish silage is primarily used as a high-protein feed ingredient for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture. Our SoftAcid product is a highly efficient acidifier for fish silage production, offering a much safer and easier handling experience compared to pure acids.
