Working with a Film and TV sustainability consultancy, belief in the power of simplicity and sustainability is represented by a circular graphic device "placing the Earth at the center" of everything they do. Our motion design approach was more than just numbers and visuals - it was about intention and infusing purpose. 🚀 🚧 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞? It has been a journey of discovering and testing out different methods—a journey that will never be finished. What keeps me going is my curiosity, emotional connection, and the aha moments when I solve something. That moment when I find an idea or solution where it all just fits. It is like finding the missing piece of a puzzle or cleaning up a messy structure. It’s the feeling of “𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭,” and a giddy smile appears on my face. I know the feeling so well. It lifts me up and excites me, and I also become clear and calm because I just know, deeply, that “𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭.” To get there, I need to stay connected with my authentic voice and be in an environment where I can fully be myself and trust my instincts. It helps that I have people by my side who believe in me, like Camilla Elise Berg. She has trusted my process and seen the magic happen. To feel my true self, I need to practice connection with my heart daily.❣ This involves automatic writing, meditation, energy exercises, being in nature, and creating new methods that I try out. Sometimes I forget this practice, and I have also gone long periods without it. It has become more and more evident that I need to prioritize this daily to energize myself and know myself fully. When I get off balance, I stagnate, worry, and go into a negative spiral that ends up in fear mode, which can lead to apathy and self-destruction. I am driven by discovering and creating something new. I love to look at systems and imagine a new form of system, a new world. I ask myself, “What if this system didn’t exist? What would then take its place?” I am driven by finding new ways to look at things, and I get interested when I am challenged with different perspectives that I haven't thought of. To play with how everything could be and tackle complex issues is thrilling for me.
