The Oslo Center, represented by our Country director, Ms.Phoebe Mungai, was honored to take part in the International Day of Democracy conference, graciously supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI). The discussions centered around the vital theme of "Empowering Voices, Building Trust: Strengthening Democratic Resilience in the Digital Age." During the panel at the @PPLI Alumni Meeting, titled "Understanding the Landscape: Challenges and Opportunities for Youth Engagement in Civic Spaces," Ms.Phoebe Mungai was privileged to engage in thought-provoking discussions. One key takeaway was the importance of acknowledging the power of our youth and the unique challenges they encounter in civic engagement, particularly in our digital era. They also explored innovative approaches to amplify their voices, foster trust, and create inclusive spaces where everyone feels empowered. #InternationalDayofDemocracy
